en el área de red de RedIRIS estamos buscando técnicos para cubrir unas plazas que tenemos vacantes. 

El perfil mínimo  en el que estamos pensando es:

* Titulación: Superior en Informática o Telecomunicaciones.
* Inglés escrito y hablado.

Valorando:

* Experiencia laboral en "internetworking" en entornos TCP/IP.
* Conocimientos de protocolos de comunicaciones y tecnologías de conmutación  y transmisión de datos.)
* Conocimientos de IP multicast, IPV6, MPLS, ...
* Conocimiento de protocolos de routing:  ISIS, BGP4+, PIM-SM, MBGP/MSDP.
* Conocimientos de SNMP y plataformas de gestión de red.
* Experiencia con routers y switches de Juniper, Cisco, Nortel.

The Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya is an advanced research center established in Barcelona (Spain) which is devoted to basic and applied R&D related to the physical and lower layers of communications systems. At present time, the CTTC is interested in filling the following Research Associate positions in communication technologies:

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITIONS:

Engineering Unit (Ref. 03/2008-01, 1 position): PhD in embedded systems design and familiarity with signal processing for communication systems focusing on or more of the following areas: multi-carrier systems, baseband signal processing in FPGAs and Software Defined Radio. Expertise in other fields of embedded systems such as safety-critical computing, dependable real-time systems and microprocessor’s self-testing techniques are welcome.

Additional valued merits are: design and verification of electronic hardware, DSP and microcontroller firmware programming in C, FPGA programming in VHDL language.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants for Research Associate positions must hold a Ph.D. degree in electrical/electronic engineering (preferred), telecommunications, computer science, or related fields, capacity of carrying out innovative research, as well as experience in research and publication record (in journals and conferences). Work experience in international and national R&D projects carried out in the context of R&D institutions is highly appreciated.

CONDITIONS

The positions is permanent. The rank and salary, in the range 34,000 – 37,000 €/year (gross), will be determined according to qualifications and work experience.
